This week Fernando Alonso is in Maranello for a seat fitting.
Yesterday when the fans could chat with Fernando on Ferrari’s official website, Alonso said about the car development:
"It’s almost ready".
"I’m here in Maranello today to prepare the seat and other things connected to the debut on the track. I think that the Ferrari will be competitive and I really hope to bring the drivers’ title here to Maranello."

Fernando Alonso is set to make his first appearance in Ferrari gear when he arrives in Madonna di Campiglio on Monday afternoon for the team’s annual ‘Wroom’ week.
Every year for the past two decades, Ferrari have camped out in Madonna di Campiglio for their traditional pre-season media event, which is hosted jointly by the Italian marque and Ducati through their shared sponsor Marlboro.This year’s event will see Alonso making his first public appearance in Ferrari colours as the Spaniard, together with team-mate Felipe Massa, will join team boss Stefano Domenicali for the six-day outing.But while the drivers and team boss are tackling the slopes and the media, work continues at Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello.
With the first test of the pre-season schedule for 1st February at Valencia, those remaining at Maranello are doing all they can to ensure that the team’s 2010 challenger is ready to run as soon as the action gets underway.In the car assembly area, work has been going on for several days already on the first chassis, which goes by the code name of 281, while also on-going is the series of crash tests necessary to homologate various components.
